The flights you take on United, United Express and the Star Alliance carriers earn Elite Qualifying Miles (EQM) or Elite Qualifying Segments (EQS). Both Elite Qualifying Miles and Elite Qualifying Segments count toward your elite status.

• Every time you fly qualifying flights on United, United Express or a Star Alliance carrier, you earn one EQM for every mile you fly or one EQS for every segment you fly.

	Terms & Conditions Mileage accrual and redemption is possible only on scheduled flights operated by the airline partner. Flights and routes may be changed by the airline partner at short notice. The miles accrued are determined by the operating airline. Please note that the booking class shown on your ticket may differ from the booking class relevant for mileage accrual. Please retain your boarding pass and a copy of your ticket until the mileage credit is reflected on your Mileage Plus statement. The general terms and conditions for the Mileage Plus program will apply.

Redeem Miles United offers many different options for redeeming your miles. United Saver / Star Alliance awards require fewer miles to travel on the United network or to more than 800 destinations worldwide. Star Alliance awards allow you to choose a combination of carriers for travel and award levels vary only by class of service and region. United Standard awards have flexibility allowing you to fly on United Airlines anytime and in any cabin you request. You can redeem your Mileage Plus® miles to upgrade on United Airlines to the next cabin of service with your paid ticket on select fares.
